Gathering professionals officiating the Opening Ceremony of “The 11th China (Dongguan) Int’l Textile & Clothing Industry Fair and The 5th South China Int’l Sewing Machinery & Accessories Show” & “The 11th China (Dongguan) Int’l Footwear Machinery & Material Industry Fair”

The Opening Ceremony of “The 10th China (Dongguan) Int’l Textile & Clothing Industry Fair and The 4th South China Int’l Sewing Machinery & Accessories Show” and “The 10th China (Dongguan) Int’l Footwear Machinery & Material Industry Fair” is organized on 29 March (Monday) at 11:30am at Foyer, Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Centre, Houjie, Dongguan.

Mr. Leung Tin Fu, Managing Director of the Organiser, Paper Communication Exhibition Services claims that, due to the economy recovery since the end of last year, there is apparently an enhancement of trade orders both from local and overseas buyers. With this change in the manufacturing industry, many factories begin to purchase new equipments as to increase the production effectiveness and the company competitiveness. DTC/ DFM meets the good timing of providing a platform showcasing the most updated equipments. Further to this, as to meet the new trend of market and the needs of innovative designs, the Organizer invites designers from garments, shoe and bags, leatherware and so on to the show, directly communicate and interact with the exhibitors. This is believed that enriching the knowledge of designers on the changing technologies will help them in innovation and creativity.

This year, over 320 exhibitors from different countries and cities gather in the fair. They include China, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Italy, Taiwan, the United States and so on. The Organiser claimed that the list of exhibitors encompasses a number of well-known brands like Juki, Yamato Durkopp and Pfaff of sewing, Jakob Mueller & KY of weaving and knitting, Tajima and SWF of embroidery, Gerber, Modular, Shima Seiki, Takatori and PGM of CAD/CAM.

Furthermore, the fair is well-known of innovation and quality services. New ideas can be found every year. “The 4th Em~touching Int’l Embroidery Design Competition”, “The 4th Marker Layout Competition”, “The 2nd Knitwear Design Competition” and “Hong Kong Footwear Design Pavilion” are organised to enrich the content of the exhibition, as well as promote the cultural exchange of design between Hong Kong and China. Hosted by the professionals from different countries and cities, “Technical Seminars” provide visitors the hottest topics in textile and clothing industry and encourage the technology exchange of visitors from Pearl River Delta.
